I heard in past, "A Lion can not climb up the tree." , but I watched lion climbing at tree at TV. Kindly explain.

It's true that lions can't climb a tree but in rare scenarios a lion can be spotted climbing a tree.

A young cub can easily climb a tree but as they grow old and their body weight increases it becomes difficult and next to impossible for them to do so but sometimes depending on the situation lions can climb a tree.

National parks in Africa do offer exciting attractions of tree climbing lions. The lions can be spotted resting on the branches of Acacia trees.
