Question

I heard that 26th January was celebrated as independence day before.
Is it true guys???
And anybody to chat i am feeling bored!

Our first independence day was 26th January 1930....

But actually only indian people celebrated it as independence day, but they we not free from the colonizers .... so it was not known as original independence day...

But in August 15th 1947 ... India got free from its colonizers and officially declared as real independence day...

26 january 1950 india became republic..
so that is why this day is celebrated by indians..republic day is 26 january and independence day is 15 august.
