Net resistance

6 ohm and 12ohm resistors r in parallel

1/6 + 1/12 = 3/12 = 1/4 ( in parallel) = 4ohm ( in series )

4 ohm and 8 ohm resistors r in series

8 + 4 = 12 ohm ( in series )

12 ohm and 12 ohm resistors r in parallel

1/12 + 1/12 = 1/6 ( in parallel ) = 6 ohm ( in series )

6 ohm and 18 ohm resistors r in series

6 + 18 = 24 ohm

Therefore , Net Resistance = 24 ohm

Now to find current through 18 ohm resistor V = IR

24 = I 18

I = 24/18 = 4/3 = 1.3 A
