i. As we know cylinders and prisms both are solids. So, one similarity will always be there. ... Now, imagine a prism with regular polygons for bases, and as you increase the number of sides, the solid gets to look just like a cylinder. So, we can say that a cylinder is a prism with an infinite number of faces.

ii. The pyramid and cones are alike because their lateral faces meet at a vertex. Also, a pyramid becomes a cone as the number of sides of its base becomes larger and larger.
