Answer:

Modern method

(b) Keeping crop grains for a long time under proper conditions - Storage(In silos).

✏ After harvesting, the grains are stored in silos or granaries till they are sold or given to consumers. It is very important to make proper arrangements like the rooms should be cleaned, sprayed with pesticides and insecticides and should be devoid of moisture because these can damage the grains.

(c) Certain plants of the same kind grown on a large scale- Crops

✏The Crops are the plants grown in a large scale because they are basically commercial purpose to produce for profit.

(d) A machine used for cutting the matured crop - Harvester

(e) A Rabi crop that is also one of the pulses - Gram

✏The gram is a leguminous plant, and a part of pulses family. It is high in protein content. It is a rabi crop that is what grown in Winter season. The gram is also known as Chickpea.

(f) A process of separating chaff from the grains - Winnowing

✏Winnowing is the process in which the edible part of grains are separated from their chaff. It generally done with the help of wind which separates the chaff which is lighter than the grains, so they fall little away whereas grains fall near. It is also done by winnowing machine. It is done after Threshing.
