find the value of k.​

$\Large\boxed{beta=3}$

==> putting the value of alpha in given quad.. eq.

==> 3 ( 4) + 2k + 8 = 0

==> 12 + 2k + 8 = 0

==> 2k = -20

==> $\Large\boxed{k=(-10)}$
