Given :- In a right angled triangle, length of hypotenuse is 8 cm and its perpendicular is 3 cm. Find Sin θ.

Solution :-

we know that,

  • sin θ = Perpendicular / Hypotenuse where perpendicular is opposite side of θ .

given that,

→ perpendicular = 3

→ Hypotenuse = 8 .

so,

→ sin θ = Perpendicular / Hypotenuse

→ sin θ = 3/8 (Ans.)

Extra :-

  • cos θ = Base/Hypotenuse
  • tan θ = Perpendicular/Base
  • cosec θ = Hypotenuse/Perpendicular
  • sec θ = Hypotenuse/Base
  • cot θ = Base/Perpendicular

Learn more :-
