1.No, there are no counting numbers with no factors at all because every number has at least two factors, i.e., 1 and itself.

 

2. 1 is neither a prime nor a composite number. 1 is the only number which has only single factor, that is, 1 itself. 1 is the only number having 1 factor.

3.Therefore, the numbers between 1 and 100 with exactly 3 factors are 4, 9, 25, 49.
