Active Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject is performing the action.

Passive Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject undergoes the action. In other words, it is writing the sentence in reverse order.

Example: Amelia is answering the questions. (Active)

The questions are being answered by Amelia. (Passive)

I knew that there were hardly any animals left in the forest near Dehra. (Active)

It is know by me that in the forest near Dehra, there were hardly any animals left. (Passive)

Hope it helps :)
