Answer :
★ Force on a charge q moving with velocity v in a magnetic field B is given by
- F = q (v × B)
ATQ,
- v = 10⁸ i m/s
- B = 0.5 j T
⭆ F = q (v × B)
⭆ F = 10‾¹¹ (10⁸ i × 0.5 j)
We know that, i × j = k
⭆ F = 5 × 10‾⁴ N along z-axis
∴ (B) is the correct answer
