Question

I know that plant cells have chromosomes (24) but why do they need chromosomes..... Because they actually grow from seed so should 'nt the seeds have chromosomes???

the seeds come from the reproduction by plant and the hereditary characters of the plant can be transferred by chromosomes and therefore each plant have different characteristics also.
