A bus dashed against a roadside tree

• A bus was found near Bantala around 10:15 am. It has been reported by the witnesses that they found the bus deformed stuck to the tree. The bus was coming from Ghatakpukur, South 24 Parganas.

• 46 casualties have been reported so far which include 9 women and 5 children, 4 people were found dead on spot and 4 were sent to the NRS hospital in Kolkata immediately by rescue operations.

• The reasons are said to be rash driving and overloading of passengers
