As it is an interrogative sentence, so it should be in the question form.

Did I work and live with Dr. Kalam?

The interrogative sentences would be asking a question and the sentence should end up with a question mark.

It is quite confusing to find out the subject of these questions as it comes with a verb and would be placed between parts of phrase.
