I looked into the mirror and smiled. It was an attractive smile. I made another earth-shaking
decision. I would always keep that attractive smile on my face …. to look more handsome. I
was after all a bachelor, and a doctor too on top of it!

A. Looking in the mirror, the author smiled. A little later he says i forgot my danger and smiled feebly at myself.

B.The doctor took 2 "important" and "earth shaking" decision while he was looking onto the mirror. First, he decided to shave daily and grow a thing moustache. Second, always to keep an attractive smile on his face.

C. Bachelor (a man who has never been married) could be the word.
