किसी क्षैतिज शक्ति संचरण लाइन (पावर लाइन) में पूर्व से पश्चिम दिशा की ओर विद्युत धारा प्रवाहित हो रही है। इसके ठीक नीचे के किसी बिंदु पर तथा इसके ठीक ऊपर के किसी बिंदु पर चुंबकीय क्षेत्र की दिशा क्या है?

By the right hand rule it states that if we grab the line in such a way that our thumb finger points towards the side of the flow of the current, and fold our rest of the fingers by curving them , the direction those curved fingers point towards , is the magnetic field's direction .

so here according to the Question,

the thumb will point towards the west and the curved fingers will point towards north if we see from the up keeping our eyes towards the west and those fingers/ magnetic field will move towards south if we see from below the line by facing towards west !!
