Answer: There is no point of confusion. It's very simple.
Annelids are roundworms. The word "annelida" is derived from "Annulus" which means rings.
It has 3 categories:
1. Polychaeta - that contains sandworm or Nereis.
2. Oligochaeta - that contains earthworm.
3. Hirudinaria- that contains Leeches.
Arthropoda, on the other hand, is the largest Phylum that consists of organisms with jointed appendages. We call such organisms as insects.
It has very broad classification.
So few of the examples of arthropods can be stated as below:-
Limulus, silver fish, locust, cockroach, mosquito , lice, scorpion, crabs, lobsters, etc.
