I'm in 9th class, so please tell me that how can I discourage rote learning ? I want it to explain my friends too.

hey friend! if u are talking abt Learning from note books then here is the thing to say to your friends. English is a language not a subject. yes u can ace ur exams by mugging everything from your notebook but ur communication skills will come down. you can't even express what u are thinking in simple words. a u should start understanding the content and start writing in ur own words to build up ur vocabulary skills.
