I'm just a little bird summary

Sometimes I feel I am like a little little bird,
Who trys to fly, yet can't fly high.
Maybe one day I could perch on a branch yet become the target of a hunter.
I might fly to the blue sky yet then result in loneliness again.
Everytime when all is in the still of night, I always can't fall into sleep.
I doubt whether or not only my future is not bright.
Who one earth knows what the future will be?
Happiness is a mere legendary that I can never, ever find it.

I'm a little little bird,
Who trys to fly yet can't fly high.
I'm looking for a warm bosom.
Is this kind of requirement too high?

Everyone who knows my name,
How's everything?
This world is so small that we are bound to hide nowhere.
When I have tasted all the bitterness and the sweetness,
And when you are determined to burn for your dream,
Which is more important between the pressure and the dignity of life?

Once my friend sang this song to me through mic. He is an Indian while this song is a Chinese song. He did a good job. Now I translate it into English.
I like this song not only because of my friend's singing, but also because of its background. Before this song became popular, the singer was constrained by HK's gangdom. He had to hand in all the incomes he earned from the concert to the head of the gangland so as to keep on surving in the music circles. It is not far to seek that the lyrics is brimmed with a sense of frustration and helplessness. We can imagine how hard for him to live at that time. What's the use of a song? When we have the same feeling as what the lyrics show, we tend to like this song.Music is just like a patient friend who is willing to listen to our pouring and confiding. Everytime I feel lousy and down, this song companys me quietly. Indeed, this song sounds comfortable especially when everthing is quiet at night.I think it has sung out inner voices of many people.
