4 or 2 are the even numbers...
If less than 3 even numbers are 0 and 2
If less than 3 even numbers are 0 and 2

you didn't say that its less than 2 and 3. Product means the number you get after multiplying

Well, the answer is quite simple.
3×2= 6
the numbers between 1 and 6 (as you said ots less than product of 2 and 3) are-
2,3,4,5
And as per your directions, the number is supposed to be even number, thus the number can be- 2 or 4.
