i m too confused in mole concept.........n no1 is clearing my doubts.......i dn hv my base clear....i want to learn all about mole concept.........plz help

Gun: You must be knowing the meaning of a dozen or a gross.
Gun: In maths, 1 dozen = 12 units and 1 gross = 20 units. In chemistry mole is the term used for measurement of particles just like dozen and gross is for maths. The main difference is that the value of 1 mole changes with each substance. For example, 1 dozen of brinjals or 1 dozen of toys will always mean 12 brinjals / toys. The numerical value does not change, but in case of mole, the numerical value of 1 mole is different for different substances. e.g. 1 mol of carbon represents 12 g of carbon
Gun: while 1 mol of nitrogen represents 14 g of nitrogen. This numerical value is determined by the relative molecular mass of the element(s) present in the compound, or, simply, the atomic mass of the element(s) present in the compound. In order to solve numerical problems on mole, you need the following information: no. of particles(atoms, molecules, ions) in 1 mol of any substance = 6.022 X 10^ 22. This number is known as Avogadro's no. Volume of 1 mol of a gas at standard temperature and pressure
Gun: is 22.7 Litres.

mole is a unit showing 6.022 *10^23 number.
in chemistry, 1 mole is 6.022*10^23 atoms of any element, compound, mineral or particle.
to find 1 mole of any element == given mass of that substance/ molar mass(atomic no)*6.022*10^23

there is nothing to be confused about in this cocept....... this concept is the topic stoichio - metry... which means quantity measurement.....
u first have to know what is avogadros no.    it is 6.022 * 10^23 entities... so this means if i have if u have 1 mole of any substance then u will be having avogadros no of species i.e 6.022 * 10^23 entities.....
e.g if u have 1 mole grains of wheat then u will have  6.022 * 10^23 grains of wheat.....
