"Save the girl child " is an initiative in India to flight against to practice of female foeticide .The initiative also aims are protecting,safe guarding supporting and educating the girl child.
Our prime minister has also requested every section of the society to give whole hearted support to the 'Beti bachao beti padhao' abhiyan (initiative).
Female foecticide is both national evil and social evil.It's unbelievable that the urge for a boy-child makes then soo cruel that they dare to kill the yet to be born.

A girl is the one who plays many roles in our lives. She is our mother, our sister ,our wife, our grandmother and many more . She is the cause of life, because of her we are in this world . Before a sister, a mother, a wife, she is a girl and if you are saving a girl you are saving your world. This world of Homo Sapiens is just because of her. She is not your demand but she is your need .
These days no field is left where women haven't achieved success .She is flying high day by day . She has done all those works which appear to be impossible for men too. The woman in India touching the seventh sky these days. Sakshi Malik, Avani Chaturvedi, Indira Gandhi ,Sarojini Naidu, Anna Malhotra, Kiran Bedi are a few examples. These all examples proved that girl is not week this is our society which is trying to show her weak.
India is a country where women are worshipped as a good as and the same country has highest crime rate done against women. Some of the crimes of sexual harresment rape murder Dowry etc.
The society it may be because of the superstitions in our society. But this must be stopped. Government should increase more policies to stop this.
The girl is being killed in the womb of her mother without any mistake.
There is no mistake of that girl. It is just mistake in our mentality.
