i) Name the forces acting on a plastic bucket containing water held above ground level in your
hand. Discuss why the forces acting on the bucket do not bring a change in its state of motion.
ii) Give examples to show that friction is both a friend and a foe.
iii) Define force. What are the effects of force on an object?
iv) Name three types of friction. Explain why the sliding friction is less than the static
friction?
Hi guys
Please solve this question of Science class 8th, this is for my exam
I will give you 60 points and mark you brainliest, if you will give best and suitable answer.

Answer:
Hi! you're answers are below:-
i) For holding the bucket of water, we apply muscular force. This muscular force acts against the force of the gravity that pulls the bucket towards the ground. These two forces are equal in magnitude but opposite in direction. Thus, there is no change in the state of motion.
Friction as a friend:
ii) Friction as a friend:-
• Friction between the ground and our feet allow us to walk.
• Friction between the tip of the pen and paper allow us to write.
• Nails and screws stay on the wall because of friction.
Friction as a foe:-
• Wear and tear of objects, such as the soles of our shoes, is due to friction.
• Machinery and tools heat up because of friction,
• Machinery and vehicles require constant maintenance from wear and tear due to friction, which can be expensive.
iii) A force is a push or a pull acting on an object which can cause various effects. When there's an interaction between two objects they exert a force on each other, these exerted forces are equal in size but opposite in direction. A force acting on an object causes the object to change its shape or size, to start moving, to stop moving, to accelerate or decelerate.
iv) The three types of friction are:-
i) Static friction
ii) Sliding friction
iii) Rolling friction.
Sliding friction is always less than static friction because two sliding objects find less time to get interlocked against each others, irregularities of surfaces so they get less friction.

Hope it helps! :)
Explanation:
In statistics, the range of a set of data is the difference between the largest and smallest values.
Now given set is 20, 30, 25, 33, 32, 19.
=> 20 - 19.
=> 1.
