i) Name the property of a metal by the virtue of which it is liberated at the cathode.\
ii) Name another metal (apart from aluminium) which is extracted by Hall Heroult's process.

A) As we know, metals are electropositive elements. So due to this nature they liberated at cathode.

B) I think only aluminium metal is extracted from hall heroults process.

(i) The electropositivity of metals causes it to be liberated at the cathode.

(ii) The Hall–Héroult process is the major industrial process for smelting aluminium. So aluminium is the only metal extracted by hall heroults process
