Love is a feeling that each and every one of us experience in our daily lives. Love is not just the mere romance between a boy and a girl. Love is much more-

It is love when your mother feeds you, looks after you or even scold you.
It is love when you look after your pet or be it a street animal
It is love when you handover your last bite of the chocolate to your younger brother or sister.
It is love when you sacrifice your home-work for a dear friend
It is love when a soldier fights on the border for us, for his nation!

Love is not just saying 'i love you'. It is when you actually show how much you love the other one. It is not just red roses or box of chocolate..It is much more.

It is love that keeps us going. Without love we feel lonely, unwanted, unloved.It is love that gives us confidence.

I would like to end my speech by quoting H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
 "Love is when the other person's happiness is more important than your own"

Love encompasses a variety of strong and pleasurable emotional and mental experiences, ranging from the most basic pleasure to the highest virtue or virtuous habit. The difference between a mother's love and a spouse's love, which is different from a love for food, is an illustration of this diversity of meanings. Most frequently, the term "love" refers to an intense desire and emotional bond.

As "the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another," love is considered to be both positive and negative, with its virtue standing in for human kindness, compassion, and affection, and its vice for human moral failing, similar to vanity, selfishness, amour-propre, and egotism, as potentially leading people into a form of mania, obsessiveness, or it may also refer to acts of  affection shown to oneself, other people, or animals.

Love is one of the most prevalent  in the arts due to its primary psychological value and the significant role it plays in fostering interpersonal relationships in all of its forms. According to some theories, love serves to keep people together in the face of threats and to support the survival of the species.
