It is our duty to know about what is going on in the world around us . Without this knowledge it will be difficult for us to live in the modern world of information technology. This knowledge is easily provided to us by newspapers. So newspaper reading has become necessity. It gives us not only news but also critical views on important subjects.
We needn't always agree with these views but they kindle the thoughtfulness. This thoughtfulness is the essence of life.
A newspaper is also a link between the government and people. In a newspaper we find what the government is doing or intends to do. It also tell us what the people at large desire. So newspaper is important for us.
