area of square = 5184m²
the side of square = 72m * 72m
the side = 72m

then the perimeter of square
= 4 * side
= 4 * 72m
= 288m

as per the question......

PERIMETER OF SQUARE = PERIMETER OF RECTANGLE.

which is 288 m = 288m.

as per the question again.....
the length of rectangle is twice its breadth.

so let the breadth be x.
and let the length be 2x.

here we know...
perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( length + breadth )

288 = 2( 2x + x )
288 = 4x + 2x
288 = 6x
288 / 6 = x
48 = x


breadth = x = 48m
length = 2x = 2 * 48 = 96m

therefore......
area of rectangle = length * breadth
area of rectangle = 48m * 96m = 4608m²
