That sort of depends on what you want to do and how you wish to be known. My Gmail address is my first name, middle initial, and last name without punctuation at gmail.com. My owned domain email is just my first name, my first name and last name initial, and also my first and middle initials then last name at the work domain. I have those three for different purposes. Clients get my first name, the others are used for communications with unknowns. Sometimes I will start getting tons of junk email after singing up for a magazine or something Okay, now I know they sell their list.

One of my friends uses his professional name as first.last at his domain for his professional work. Another uses his nom de guerre, his writing name complete with periods before the domain he was using.

I think that if you want professional I’d go with [email protected].

Sorry to be difficult but I hope you understand why I didn’t just spell out anyone’s email address.
