We are in a generation, where myths and gossips about something supernatural doesn't find a place in the society, but maybe there really is something like that?
I myself too, don't believe in such things....or rather didn't.  Something recently happened which changed my perception about the supernatural. There is a big bunglow in tobya, a picnic spot near Malgudi. We had gone there on a picnic, as it naturally happens, we were interested in that old dilapted house. It was actually being used as a tourist attraction. So we too went in, the guides there were busy telling us about haunted encounters in that place. We didn't believe them at first, and infact I wondered aloud that it was all a jinx . We had a short tour of the place and were about to leave, when the lights in the place went out. I was just a little shocked, as such place isn't prone to power cuts. When suddenly a hand at my sholder chilled me. I kept calm, but I dare not turn back, the hand than seemed to push a paper in my pocket, and then it all became normal again. The lights blinked in. After getting out, I unfolded the chit, it said " Dear miss,
We are there, nothing is destructible, and so are we"
Till date,my common sense says it was all a prank, to make me believe in those debatable ideas...but then was it really.....

One beautiful sunshine morning, four children named Droncho, Harriet, Michelle, and Tanya were playing Monopoly inside Droncho’s house located in a town named Sommerville. They have been playing for more than two hours and everyone got very bored because they thought it wasn’t exciting. So, they all decided to take a brisk walk.

The group of friends went walking to a cliff, chatting at an unbearable volume. They stopped when Dronco spotted a large, grey house sitting eerily on the side of the cliff. The four of them decided to go in and explore. A few seconds later, they started walking toward the house, but suddenly halted when they reached the front door. Labeled on the front door was the name of the house: La Prosse!

Michelle, who was a shy person, was asked by Harriet and Tanya to open the door. She stood in a horrible fright. With great courage, Michelle stood up, seized the door, and opened it slowly. The four friends crept into the house and saw dead skeletons lying everywhere on the floor of the house. They thought the skeletons looked unusual. Suddenly, a man named Whacka turned up behind the stairs. He was a short man wearing a magician suit. He had tanned skin and he wore a black, justice cape. He also had very thick, red lips and curly hair. Suddenly, he turned the dead and unusual skeletons into real life.

Immediately after they were turned into reality, the skeletons were trying to capture and kidnap the friends which made them run away as fast as possible. Breathlessly, the children kept their pace. They looked back to verify Whacka’s location. They suddenly became frightened. Whacka and his skeletons were searching for nets and ropes promptly to ensure that the children get caught. Everyone kept running in circles until Tanya found a hidden switch behind the door. She stopped forthwith but didn’t notice the label above that said “BEWARE! Don’t turn on the switch!” Tanya flicked the switch.

Without warning, the skeletons and Whacka froze into solid ice and were taken back to the year 508. In the period, the skeletons transformed into cruel humans and Whacka into an enormous spider about the size of a standard truck with venom dripping from his lethal fangs.

As they froze, the children thought of their advantage. They quickly rushed out of the Haunted House as so named La Prosse and went running back to their OWN houses. Inside each house, the children told their parents everything that happened and their parents tried to calm them down so that they were relaxed. After they were at rest, the children slept because they were drowsy.

The very next day, the four children met at the park and discussed how relieved they were. They chattered about why the scary skeletons and Whacka never returned. After such a long talk, they agreed that they would never visit another spooky house again.
