Answer:

total investment = 30000 + 45000 = 75000

Ratio of investment of partner 1 = 30000/75000= 2/5

so profit for partner 1 also goes in ratio of 2/5

2/5 x 12000 = 4800

so profit of partner 2 is 12000-4800 = 7200
