Answer:

1)There are two main types of root systems. Dicots have a tap root system, while monocots have a fibrous root system, which is also known as an adventitious root system.

2)The presence of starch in leaves can be find by Iodine test. When we remove chlorophyll from leaf by boiling it in alcohol and then put 2 drops of iodine solution, its colour change to blue indicates the presence of starch.

3)The stem is the plant axis that bears shoots, leaves, buds, and the basal end-roots. It conducts water, minerals, and food to other parts of the plant body through various systems. In some plants, the stem is modified to perform other functions such as storage of food, support, vegetative propagation, and protection.

4)Leaves have two main parts: The leaf blade and the Stalk or the petiole.

•The leaf blade: It is also called the lamina. It’s generally broad and flat. It is in this layer that photosynthesis occurs.

•The petiole: It is the stalk-like structure which connects the leaf blade to the stem.
