I need the meaning of Luminous Objects, and the meaning of Non-Luminous Objects and its 3 main Types ( Transparent, Translucent, Opaque).

Luminous objects are those objects which can produce their own light. Eg - Stars, Bulb, The screen you are watching, etc

Non-luminous objects are those objects which can't produce their own light, and glow by reflecting the light of other sources. Eq - Most of the things around you like a pen, mouse, keyboard, or can say planets.

Types Of Non-luminous substances are

Transparent - These are the substances which allow almost all light rays to go through them. Eg - Glass.

Translucent - These are the substances which allow only some of the light rays to go through them. Eg- Polythene bags, Sunglasses, etc.

Opaque - These are the substances which reflect all the light rays coming towards them. Eq-  Wood, Stone, metals, etc.
