article 51A reads:It Shall be the duty of every citizen of india to:i)abide by the constution and respect its ideals and institutions, the National Flag, and the National Anthem;
ii) cherish and follow the noble ideals which inspired our national struggle for freedom;
iii) uphold and protect the sovereignity, unity and intigrity of india;
iv) defend the country and render national service when called upon to do so;
v) promote harmony and spirit of common brotherhood amongst all people of india;vi) value and preserve the rich heritage of our composite culture;
vii) protect and improve natural environment including forests, lakes, rivers and wild life, and have compassion for living creatures;
viii) develop the scientific temper, humanism and the spirit of enquiry and reform;
