1)Sound production is the responsibility of the vocal folds. 

2)The function of pinna is to collect sound from the surroundings and send it to the inner part of ear.

3) The auditory nerve, is the sensory nerve that transfers auditory information from the cochlea (auditory area of the inner ear) to the brain.

4)We have two types of sound- audible sound and inaudible sound.

Human ear cannot detect sound frequencies less than 20 vibrations per second i.e. 20 hz.
