Women is the magnificent creation of god. The empowerment of love and affection. She is a multifaced personality with the power of adjustability, velevolance and tolerance . As the companion of men , she is gifted with equal mental facility. But unfortunately, she is not given equal status in society. Unless and until women uplifted and granted  equal status with men in all works of life, no nation will develop.

Women are discriminated at every level of the society. This continues to be impeded in the social system where women are consider as objects of sex. In India , Where society is filled with actions  against women including rape, domestic violence , female intencisides etc. emancipation of women has become essential need of the hour.

Empowerment of women is enabling women to exercise their full control over material assets intectural resources and even over their ideology. In India the process of empowerment of women has already began. As a result, there is a steady improvement of enrollment of women in educational institution. Their health is better as compared to earlier decades. They entered into employment in increasing number. They have started    showing their skills even in non-traditional sectors like police, Defence, administration , media etc. and in the field of politics. Neverthless  we still have a long way to go.
