i need formula for area of trapezium plz plz plz very urgent.

hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

area of trapezium = 1/2 × h (b1 + b2)

h = the perpendicular distance between the two parallel sides of the trapezium


b1 = base 1 (one of the parallel side)

b2 = base 2 (another parallel side)

example :-

find the area of a trapezium whose height is 6cm and the length of two parallel sides are 5cm and 10cm.

h = 6cm, b1 = 5cm and b2 = 10cm

area of the trapezium = 1/2 × h ( b1 + b2 )

= 1/2 × 6 ( 5 + 10 )

= 3 × 15

= 45cm²
