Here is your answer..

Square root of 100 = +/-10

x^2=100. From prior knowledge, I know this is 10. However, if you don’t know, you can try different combinations and you will eventually get 10.

It could also be -10. As you might have learned, a negative multiplied by a negative gives you a positive. Therefor, both 10 and -10 are the square roots of 100.

the answer is calculated such that 10*10 is equal to 100. To find others you need to just find one number that multiply itself to get your answer
