Yes, it is an accelerated motion because the direction of the body is contineously changing as it is moving on a circular path.

Hi there,
yup the motion is accelerated although it is in uniform circular motion but it's velocity is constantly changing as it's direction is constantly changing.
It is accompanied by the centripetal acceleration which is always directed towards the centre of the motion of the particle.
Here acceleration is working as there is change in velocity ( change in direction only not in magnitude). :)
