2x+3y=7 =>-3y=2x-7.......(i)

7x-y=13
Multiply both sides by 3
=>21x-3y=39
=>-3y=39-21x........(ii)

Using (i) and (ii) we get
2x-7=39-21x
=>23x=46
=>x=2

Putting value of x in (i),
-3y=2(2)-7
=>-3y=-3
=>y=1

Values of x and y are 2 and 1 respectively

shubham960: you do the wrong calculation for the value of x
