so first

we need to subtract area of square from area of those two circles

Sides2- area of 2 circles

radius = 3cm

side = 12cm

pie value = 3.14

soo area of one circle =

pie x radius square

3.14 x 9 = 28.26

then

there are two circles = 28.26 x 2

                                  = 56.52

then now we subtract it

144- 56.52

soo the area of shaded region is =  87.48 cm sq\
