Let the no. be a and b.....

Given ⤵️

• a+b = 84.........(i)
• 2a = b+21........(ii)

==> From (i)

==> a+b = 84

==> b = 84 - a..............(iii)

Putting (iii) in (ii)

==> 2a = b+21

==> 2a = 84 - a + 21

==> 2a + a = 84 + 21

==> 3a = 105

==> a = 105/3

==> a = 35

Putting value of a in equation (i)

==> a + b = 84

==> 35 + b = 84

==> b = 84 - 35

==> b = 49

So the two no. are 35 and 49.
