x+2y = -1----(1)

-x + y = -5 ---(2)

Let Eliminate the 'x' as it Has Two opposite sign

2y = -1

y = -5 -----(By Adding)

______

3y = -6

y = -6/3

y = -2

Substituting y = -2 in equation (2)

-x+y=-5

-x +(-2) = -5

-x-2 = -5

-5+2 = x

-3 = x

Thus, x = -3 and y = -2
