Answer: x= 3.75 , y =6.50

Step-by-step explanation:

Let cost of tacos = x

Let cot of enchilada = y

ATQ

4x + y = 21 . 50. (Eq 1)

2x +3y = 27. (Eq 2)

Multiply( eq 1 ) by 3

(4x + y =21 .50) × 3

12x +3y = 64 .50. (Eq 3)

Subtacting (eq 2) from (eq 3 )

12x + 3y = 64 .50

-( 2x +3y = 27 .00)

10x = 37.50

X = 37.50/10

X = 3.75

Putting value of x in( eq 1)

4 ×( 3.75) +y = 21.50

15 +y = 21.50

Y = 21.50 - 15

y = 6.50
