Explanation:

As you can see, all the above resistances are in parallel so to calculate the equivalent resistance between A and B we should use this formula

1/R = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 ( for parallel combination)

As given in the question, R1 =R2 = R3 = 2 ohms

we get, 1/R = 1/2 + 1/2 +1/2

=(1+1+1)/2

=3/2 ohms

Therefore, R = 2/3 ohms.
