In the poem, the poet tells about a beautiful, young spring flower which is in a hurry to leave. The leaves do not want it to go away. The stars in the sky call out and say that they need it urgently, and it should go to them soon. But the leaves surround the blossom from all sides and plead that it should not go away. Then the southern breeze blows and murmurs to the flower and asks it to go along with her. She hastens it saying that the blue sky had been replaced by the dusk. And then the night of the full moon receded leaving no time to be spared. Once again the dancing leaves stand around the flower and whisper and plead that it should not to go away.
