Sum of many factors that enhances one's character are family, education, moral values, ethical choices and right thoughts. To have a good character is to have a bright future. Not everyone can achieve a good character through all those aforementioned factors. So this certainly lakh the the base for their future. It is to be taken very seriously.
The actions of a person are reflective of his character. And actions determine one's future. Not only do the action speak but also their behaviour is somewhat a reflection of their true character. Honesty, kindness, loyalty, faithfulness, obedience, and humbleness are also indicative of a good character. These help a person build his future with diligence and dignity.
