Hi
_____________________________________________________________

Ratio of Indians to Mexicans 7:3

Ratio of Mexicans to Colombians 5:2

Ratio of number of Indians : Mexicans : Colombians = 7x5:15:2x3 =35:15:6

Let the number of:

Indians be 35x
Mexicans be 15x
Colombians be 6x

Total number of tourists = 280

35x+15x+6x = 56x

56x= 280

x= 5

Number of Colombians 6x= 6 x 5= 30

Answer: D)30

Hope it helps ^_^

Let's say Indians = A
Mexicans = B
Colombians = C

We have to find A:B:C

We have got,
A :B = 7:3
B: C = 5:2

Now we have got to find common multiple of both Bs (5,3)
Common multiple = 15
Now make B common
A:B = 7 x 5 : 3 x 5 = 35 :15
B:C = 5 x 3 : 2 x 3 = 15 : 6

The ratio is A:B:C = 35:15:6

C = colombians
Let Indians 35x , Mexicans 15x and Colombians be 6x

Total = 35x + 15x + 6x = 56x
But total tourists given = 280

Colombians = 6x / 56x X 280 = 6/56 x 280 = 6 x 5 = 30

Correct option ---D 30

Hope This Helps You
