Answer :
The poem portrays a childs aching for the opportunity he finds in the lives of people around him. At the point when the gong sounds ten in the first part of the day, he strolls to his school and sees the vendor crying "Bangles, precious stone bangles!" and he wishes he could be a peddler. At four toward the evening, while at the same time returning from school, he sees the plant specialist burrowing the ground and he wants to be a nursery worker. At the point when nightfall falls his mom sends him to bed and he sees the guardian through the window and he wishes he could be a gatekeeper .

The poem 'Vocation' is written by the renowned poet Rabindranath Tagore.
In this poem, a child compares his life to that of a hawker, a watchman, and a gardener.
The child longs to live like them considering them as free or independent, not aware of the hardships faced by each of those people.
The hawker has to keep shouting at the top of his voice all day, the gardener has to work in the harsh sunlight, and the watchman has to give up his sleep to satisfy their needs, which the child foolishly desires.
