Ammeter will show the reading of total current so we have to calculate total current in the circuit..we can see that BC and CD are in series so there total current would be 6 ohm then that 6 ohm and BD are in parallel now so the resultant current would be 1/2 ohm now this 1/2 ohm and AB and DE are in series so we will add them up...and we get 1.5 ohm thus this will be the reading of ammeter....
