Since, angle BOC is 180° , the angle CAB is 90°

Since, triangle ABC is right angled triangle, by using Pythagoras theorem,

=> BC² = AB² + AC²

=> BC² = 49 + 576 = 625

=> BC = 25 cm

Diameter of circle is 25cm.

Radius of circle is 25/2 cm.

Area of triangle ABC = ½ × 24 × 7 = 84 cm²

Area of BOD :

 =  >   \frac{90}{360}   \times  3.14 \times  {(12.5)}^{2}

 =  > 122.66 {cm}^{2}

Area of shaded region :

 =  > ( \frac{1}{2}  \times 3.14 \times  {(12.5)}^{2} ) - 122.66 + 84 {cm}^{2}

 =  > 245.31 - 122.66 + 84 {cm}^{2}

 =  > 206.65 {cm}^{2}

Hope this answer helps you ^_^ !

Answer:

CAB= 90°

BC2= AC2+AB2

BC2=24 2+ 72

BC2=625

BC2=25

radius = 25/2 = 12.5cm

pier2= 490.625cm

1/2×base ×height

84cm2

area of quadrant = 1/4×pier2

=122.65625cm2

490.625-84-122.65625

= 283.98675cm2
