If trngles congruent then BCA is isoceles trngl also trngl DAE is isoceles as DA=AE(by CPCT).

∴AE = AD (cpct)____(1)
and AB = AC or AC = AB (cpct)____(2)
dividing equation (1) and (2).
⇒AE/AC = AD/AB
Now, in ΔDEA and ΔBCA
∠A = common
and AE/AC = AD/AB
so, ΔDEA and ΔBCA are similar triangles (By SAS)
∴AE = AD (cpct)____(1)
and AB = AC or AC = AB (cpct)____(2)
